Sheer vertical blinds version uses a generally wider slat and has the added feature of being able to pull a cord to stack the slats together either to one side or to separate in the center and stack on each end. Sheer vertical blinds allows rotation of slats by a rotating shaft in the upper head rail housing which runs through independent geared carriers that will convert twisting of tilt rail to a rotation of each individual slat in sync.

How Do You Put Up Vertical Blinds?( Sheer Vertical Blinds)
Vertical blinds can be both attractive and resourceful. Whereas most curtains simply offer the option of being opened or closed, vertical blinds allow you to partially open them if you wish. This means you can maintain a degree of privacy while still allowing some natural light into your home or office. Vertical blinds come in a variety of shapes, sizes and designs to suit an array of personal styles. If you wish to install vertical blinds, it's a fairly straightforward process.
STEP 1
Confirm your vertical blinds came with all the necessary installation pieces. Every set of vertical blinds should include installation brackets, mounting clips, screws and a valance or headrail. If your kit did not come with any necessary pieces, acquire them from your local hardware store.
STEP 2
Measure one inch out from each side of the window space. Mark these spots with a pencil as they are where your brackets will be installed. Hold each bracket up to the wall so you can mark the two spots where the screws will go through it.
STEP 3
Drill holes at these marks. If you wish, you can begin the holes by using a hole puncher.
STEP 4
Place the brackets over the holes and insert the mounting screws.
STEP 5
Attach the valance or headrail to the brackets. Generally, it should snap easily into the brackets.
STEP 6
Loop the weighted blind cord through the cord guides. These are featured on either the right or left side of the valance or headrail. The control cord will hang down from this position.
STEP 7
Pull the control cord until the blind holders are in the open position. They should all be facing perpendicular to the window.
STEP 8
Insert the individual blinds into the holders. Each holder only holds one blind. The blinds should easily snap into the holder when you push them into place. Pull gently on each one to ensure it is locked in place.
